Hey, I’m Nathan!
I grew up with bad eating habits. Habits like, “You can't leave the dinner without finishing your plate.” Problem was, this type of mentality created a bad relationship with food. It forced me to eat too much. I also struggled to understand what good food was, specifically healthy foods. I didn't want to eat healthy foods in the proper portion size, and slowly I became overweight. I also struggled with exercise, especially since I suffered with knee injuries from marching band. Then I met someone. During our relationship, the issues I had with myself became apparent. I was sick of looking a certain way. I was sick of how people, even those close to me, were assuming things about me based on how I looked. I wasn't comfortable in my skin. One day, I said enough is enough, and I made the decision for myself. No one told me, “You need to go and lose weight.” I wanted to make this change for myself.
I knew I had to take charge of my health and I got in touch with a personal trainer at my local gym. He and his coworker taught me the ropes, but eventually, I moved away and had to continue my fitness journey on my own. I did as much research as I could and quickly found there's a lot of information out there, and not all of it is good. I started to realize what information was helpful and what wasn't. I made it my mission to help others who, like me, want to be the best version of themselves. I made so many mistakes along the way during my journey. I learned everything the wrong way and corrected it through the proper channels. Now I'd like to share my experiences to help you get the best results possible and be a better you!
